Possui graduação e mestrado em Engenharia de Computação pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo. Atualmente, é assistente de pesquisa na Universidade de Ciências Aplicadas de Karlsruhe, na Alemanha. Entre 2020 e 2022, participou do programa German Chancellor Fellowship pela Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, pesquisando neutralidade da rede e responsabilidade de intermediários no Centre for Global Cooperation Research da Universidade de Duisburg-Essen na Alemanha. Atua como professora em cursos de especialização na área de TI. Ela é cofundadora e codiretora da Rede Apoena, uma rede de pesquisadores brasileiros na Alemanha. É membro da comissão fiscal do capítulo brasileiro da Internet Society.
Nathalia holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of São Paulo. Currently, she is research assistant (Akademische Mitarbeiterin) at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, in Germany. Among 2020 and 2021, she participated in the German Chancellor Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, researching network neutrality and liability of Internet intermediaries at the Center for Global Cooperation Research at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Nathalia has spent many years as a technical advisor to the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee and as a lecturer in graduate courses in the IT area. She is a co-founder and co-manager of the Apoena Network, a network of Brazilian researchers in Germany. She is a member of the audit committee of Brazilian chapter of Internet Society.

Sie hat einen Bachelor- und Master-Abschluss in Computeringenieurwesen von der Universität São Paulo. Derzeit ist sie Akademische Mitarbeiterin an der Hochschule Karlsruhe in Deutschland. Von 2020 bis 2022 war sie Bundeskanzlerstipendiatin der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung und forschte am Center for Global Cooperation Research der Universität Duisburg-Essen in Deutschland. Sie unterrichtet in Spezialisierungskursen im Bereich IT. Sie ist Mitbegründerin und Koordinatorin des Rede Apoena, einem Netzwerk brasilianischer Forscher in Deutschland.
